When you feel ready, cut the deck into three piles. Then, draw one card from each pile and place them face down on the table in front of you. These are the first three cards of the spread: the key, the crossroads, and the cauldron.

Now, shuffle the remaining cards in the deck and draw four more cards. Place them face down on the table in a row below the first three cards. These are the last four cards of the spread: the torch, the serpent, the owl, and the keyhole.
